5 lads booked the boat today at short notice to take advantage of the nice weather. the lads were all on hire gear with little experience but soon got the hang of it. we started off in a different area this morning and had a few dogfish and the odd whiting early on. We only had a couple of roker though so we made a move to a different mark altogether. We had a few roker to start with here before the tide died and bites dried up. As the tide got going again we started to see fish and they came in steadily throughout the rest of the day. By home time we had 20 odd roker and several whiting and dogfish for our efforts.
