I did a quick turnaround and headed back out for a short evening trip with Charlie and Ashton bringing along there mum and dad (Ben and Toni) and friends. The boys were on a return trip after enjoying their trip last year so much. We headed out in a different direction to the day time as there was a bit more breeze by now so we sought a bit of shelter to start off with. We had a few whiting over the turn of the tide but very little else. We made a move back towards were we had fished in the day and had to hunt around a bit to find just the one lonely roker before home time as the sun set and temperature dropped. All credit to Toni and the boys for persevering despite being a bit chilly and the fishing being slow. I look forward to seeing you all later in the year as we head out for a full day next time!
