The fishing has been very good lately. Baits aren’t lasting long at all before something gets hold of them. Smooth-hounds have been making up most of our catches. The last few trips we have averaged over 30 per day with our best days producing over 50. We haven’t seen any monsters but loads of scrappy little hounds to put a bend in the rods. I’m between there have been a few rays and bass, absolutely loads of dogfish with a few whiting and pouting too.
It’s a great time to get out and get a bend in the rod with the bass numbers picking up now for those who want something for the table.
