Although Essex isn’t often accociated with plaice nowadays they can still be caught in the right places. Infact the numbers have been pretty good when we have tried for them the last couple of years. We will be putting a few trips together for them over the next couple of months for those who are interested. We can tie in fishing for other species too such as bass and of course there’s other stuff coming out on the plaice gear like gurnard and other flaties.
I will try and advertise some suitable tides nearer the time but if you are interested in joining us as a group or individual then please get in touch and I’ll send some dates through.
In the meantime the fishing is really ramping up for us now. Even on our general trips are producing a wide variety of species.
